Perfect base for walking our way along St Cuthberts Way – The cottage is on the doorstep of the Cheviot Hills. This is in an ideal location and has been a very comfortable stay with everything as good or better than home!

Beautiful cottage and everything was like new, the beds and sofas were very comfortable, absolutely spotless and really well equipped (even enough hangers) Really good communication from owners and lovely welcome pack for us all including the dog, secure back garden which opens out onto Brysons park and lovely walks, the area was great for walks with easy access to the countryside, Wooler is a nice small town and overall we had a great stay

Compass Cottage gave me and my family a warm hug, we slept amazingly well, comfy beds and amazing shower and facilities, loved the local books, maps and games, so thoughtful, beautiful area and sights, we will be back for sure

Compass Cottage is a lovely, exceptionally clean and well appointed home in a quiet location. There is everything you need for a lovely holiday in this well located cottage, there is a wood burning stove, local books, maps and plenty DVDs to access,there is also an enclosed dog friendly garden with gated access to a playing field and walks

The most beautiful little cottage, so comfortable and homely. Lovely walk to all amenities in town centre. Will defo be returning to this charming place.

Compass cottage is a fantastic retreat it has all you could wish for. From the first contact from Paul to the time we left the communication was great. This place wants for nothing, is peaceful and has a great ambiance, the bed was so comfortable and was like sleeping on clouds, I cannot recommend staying here enough

A very cosy cottage in a fantastic location, everything was provided to ensure a lovely stay and the cottage is so quaint and is spotless clean, the log burner is so lovely, the enclosed garden is safe for our Daschie Bella, just open the gate and you are out onto the playing fields and park with stunning views of the nearby hills

Booked directly through Paul which was a straight forward process. Cannot fault the cottage. Beautiful views with a great garden for the dog.

Book more than just a weekend… We decided to go just before Chistmas to go explore the countryside. After speaking with Paul and hearing his recommendations on what to see, we wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be back!
